I have 97 civic dx sedan without tachometer. So is it okay to change it with a tachometer so i can check the rpm? And can i retain my mileage?

Yo idk if you’re still active on here but I swapped mine out and the rpm’s won’t go up not sure what might cause this.

I have a 1999 Honda Civic and I put the tachometer cluster in it and my fuel gauge didn’t work and when the car runs in park is says it going 20 miles an hour

How do you get the fuel/ temp gauge to light up?

what a douche bag does not show the finished product. Probably did not work

You do not take the black plate off before you remove the screws this is what holds the gauges in place when the are unscrewed from the back. You should avoid touching the gauge faces so you don't get fingerprints on it because then the whole world knows you tampered with your cluster

Hopefully you reply to this, but is this the same for a 1994 civic. Is it still going to be plug and play?

Just did the swap today. Swapped out that old boring cluster with one that's got a RPM Guage found in a junkyard and luckily beat someone else to it lol.

If you do the swap can you still see your current mileage in your car? Or are you stuck with the mileage in the replacement cluster
